On Friday, after trading began on the interbank foreign exchange market, the decline in quotes for non-cash dollars continued. By the time of writing, they had dropped to 44.85 UAH on the “bid” position.

Notably, according to the portal “Kurs of Ukraine,” the National Bank is currently not participating in trading. In other words, the decline is happening without its involvement and not under pressure from its interventions, but naturally. There are situationally more sellers of the currency than buyers.

The volume of transactions in the Bloomberg trading system as of 11:20 is about 50 million dollars.

The euro on the interbank currency market of Ukraine on Friday trades in a narrow range of 50.32–50.43 UAH on the “bid” position — exactly at the same level as on Thursday. On the international foreign exchange market FOREX, the euro continues to correct after the collapse two days ago and has now risen to the 1.12495 dollar mark. Today the publication of inflation data in the Eurozone countries is expected, which may significantly affect the euro exchange rate against the dollar and other currencies.
