Russia destroyed 'Faino Market' logistics center: possible disruptions with goods

Russian attack on the evening of October 14 completely destroyed the logistics center of the retail chain "Faino Market" in Kropyvnytskyi. The company is forced to restructure its goods delivery system and warns customers about possible supply delays and temporary absence of individual items in stores.

This was reported by the press service of "Faino Market" on its official Instagram page. Information about the destruction of the company's warehouses was also confirmed by "Suspilne Kropyvnytskyi".

The company reported that as a result of the strike there are dead and injured. Their number was not specified. The chain's management expressed condolences to the families of the victims and assured that necessary support is provided to the injured.

"On the evening of October 14, the enemy struck at the very heart of "Faino Market" - our logistics center. A place where work was in full swing every day. Where hundreds of people made efforts so that in the stores of our neighbors there would always be everything necessary," the chain said in a statement.

The destruction of the logistics center has already affected the company's operations. Currently, "Faino Market" is restructuring logistics processes and looking for alternative routes for delivering products to retail outlets.

The chain warned that due to infrastructure destruction, delivery delays and temporary absence of certain goods are possible. At the same time, stores continue to operate, and employees are making efforts to ensure they are supplied with necessary products.

In addition, the mobile application "Faino Market" is temporarily unavailable. The company plans to restore its operation in the near future, but no specific timeline has been named yet.

"Faino Market" is one of the large regional retail chains in Ukraine. According to information from the company's official website, it unites 225 stores in 85 cities and settlements. The chain operates in Kirovohrad, Cherkasy, Odesa, Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, and Kyiv regions. The company employs over 4200 people.

The strike on the logistics center was part of a massive Russian attack on Kirovohrad region on October 14. According to regional authorities, Russian drones hit objects at 26 locations. In total, three people were killed in the region and six more were injured. How many of them were on the territory of "Faino Market" enterprises is not specified.

The retail chain has not yet disclosed the scale of material damage. The company also did not specify the timeline for full restoration of logistics operations.
