Polish chain of affordable clothing and home goods stores Pepco has announced the exact dates for opening its first retail locations in Ukraine. At the end of October, the company will start operating in three shopping and entertainment centers in Kyiv at once. By the end of 2026, the chain also plans to open stores in other Ukrainian cities.

This was reported on October 16 by the Ukrainian Council of Shopping Centers (UCSC) citing Pepco's press service.

The chain's first store in Ukraine will open on October 28 in Kyiv's Respublika Park shopping and entertainment center. Two more retail locations will begin operations on October 30.

Where the first Pepco stores will open

According to the schedule published by the company, the first openings are planned for the following dates:

  • October 28 — Respublika Park, Kyiv;
  • October 30 — Retroville, Kyiv;
  • October 30 — Dream Yellow, Kyiv.

Thus, in three days, Pepco expects to launch three stores in the Ukrainian capital at once.

The store area in Respublika Park will be almost 450 sq. m, and the store in Retroville will be about 600 sq. m. Lease agreements for premises in these shopping centers were reached back in the summer.

By the end of the year, the company also intends to enter the markets of Ternopil and Chernivtsi.

It is expected that stores will appear in the new phase of the Podolyany shopping center in Ternopil and the Bukovyna Mall shopping center in Chernivtsi. However, the exact opening dates have not yet been announced.

What products Pepco will sell

Pepco specializes in selling affordable clothing, home textiles, kitchenware, toys, and everyday goods for the whole family.

The assortment of Ukrainian stores will include women's, men's and children's clothing, home goods, school supplies, decorative items, and seasonal collections.

Before launching physical stores, the company has already opened a Ukrainian-language website pepco.ua, which features the assortment, prices, and information for customers.

In particular, the site provides information about products for children and adults, current collections, and purchasing rules.

Pepco tests the Ukrainian market

Plans for the Polish retailer to enter the Ukrainian market became known in the spring of 2026. In May, the company registered a legal entity "Pepco Ukraine", and the former operations director of the Multiplex cinema chain, Arsen Starchenko, became the head of the Ukrainian division.

The consulting company Retail & Development Advisor (RDA) acts as Pepco's exclusive representative for chain development in Ukraine, handling the search and selection of retail space.

At the first stage, Pepco plans to test the operation of a limited number of stores. Further expansion will depend on sales results, commercial performance, and the security situation.

Previously, the company considered launching from five to ten stores by the end of 2026, but the final expansion schedule has not yet been publicly approved.

Pepco is one of the largest European chains in the segment of affordable goods for family and home. The company was founded in Poland in 2004 and today operates more than four thousand stores in Europe.

For the 2025 financial year, Pepco Group's revenue grew by 8.7% to EUR 4.52 billion, and net profit increased by 19.7% to EUR 219 million.

The chain's entry into the Ukrainian market will intensify competition in the budget clothing and home goods segment, where international retailers such as Sinsay already operate.
