In parallel with the next rise in quotations on the interbank currency market, resumed growth of selling rates for cash "American" in wholesale exchange offices – both in the capital and in regional centers.
In Kyiv wholesale exchange offices today sell the regular ("white") dollar at 45.07 UAH. This is 3 kopecks more expensive than last Friday. In Mykolaiv the dollar is sold at 45.08 UAH, in Dnipro – at 45.10 UAH, in Kharkiv and Kropyvnytskyi – at 45.15 UAH, in Poltava and Khmelnytskyi – at 45.20 UAH.
Ukrainian banks by 11:30 sell the dollar at prices from 45.05 UAH in the Kyiv branch of Sky Bank to 45.45 UAH in Zaporizhzhia's Metbank. As we can see, banks already confidently keep the cash dollar selling rate above 45 UAH. As for the euro, at the moment it can be purchased cheapest at 50.70 UAH also in the Kyiv branch of Sky Bank.
Today, as we see, this bank is "dumping". The closer to the end of the month and the NBU Board meeting on monetary policy scheduled for October 29, the more nervous the situation on the currency market becomes. However, according to analysts of the "Kurs Ukrainy" portal, the most likely scenario for the next week and a half is the continuation of holding the dollar rate in the current range of 44.80-45.25 UAH with a gradual shift towards its upper limit.
