Along with the rise in quotes on the interbank currency market, prices for selling cash "American" in wholesale exchange offices – both in the capital and in regional centers – are also crawling up.

In Kyiv, wholesale exchange offices today sell a regular ("white") dollar at a minimum of 45.16 UAH. This is 9 kopecks more expensive than on Monday. In Dnipro, the dollar is sold at 45.18 UAH, in Lviv – at 45.20 UAH, in Odesa and Mykolaiv – at 45.25 UAH, in Poltava – at 45.30 UAH.

Ukrainian banks as of 11:30 sell the dollar at a price from 45.15 UAH at Kyiv branch of Sky Bank to 45.60 UAH at Zaporizhzhia Metabank. As we can see, unlike wholesale exchangers, banks are not shy about setting the sale rate of cash dollars significantly above 45 UAH.

As for the euro, currently the cheapest is available at 50.75 UAH also at the Kyiv branch of Sky Bank. This bank has been "dumping" for several days in a row: interesting, is there currency available or only "pretty" rates?

The closer to the end of the month and the NBU board meeting on monetary policy scheduled for October 29, the more nervous the situation on the currency market becomes. According to analysts of the "Kurs Ukrainy" portal, the most likely scenario for the next week and a half is the dollar rate staying in the current range of 44.80–45.25 UAH with gradual movement towards its upper boundary.
