On October 19, during a drone attack on Rivne, Russian troops hit the warehouse of "BaDM" company – one of the largest pharmaceutical distributors in Ukraine. It is about a warehouse complex with an area of 2,370 square meters, which has been operating since 2012.

This was reported by "Rivne News" and "Economic Pravda" with reference to participants of the pharmaceutical market.

According to preliminary information, no one was injured directly as a result of the strike on the warehouse. At the same time, the scale of destruction, the cost of damaged equipment, and possible losses of medicines have not yet been established.

In the specialized publication "Apteka" they noted that rescuers extinguished a fire at one of the civilian infrastructure facilities in Rivne region after the morning attack. However, in the message of the State Emergency Service, the name of the enterprise was not specified.

This is not the first hit on the logistics infrastructure of "BaDM". In September, Russian troops destroyed the pharmacy warehouse of a structural subdivision of the company in Odesa region. Then the distributor reported that it was the fourth time its facilities had been attacked since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

After the September attack, "BaDM" reconfigured logistics routes and continued supplying medicines to Ukrainian pharmacies and medical institutions, despite the loss of warehouse capacity.

The company is one of the largest participants in the Ukrainian market of distribution of medicines. Its activities cover the supply of medicines from manufacturers and importers to pharmacy chains and healthcare facilities.

As of October 20, "BaDM" has not published a separate official statement about the consequences of the strike on the warehouse in Rivne. Whether this attack led to delays in the supply of medicines or changes in the operation of pharmacy chains is currently unknown.
