"Nova Post" opened Moldova's largest postal locker space near Chisinau Airport

Ukrainian logistics company Nova Post has opened Moldova's first specialized postal locker space. The new location is situated near Chisinau International Airport and combines 624 compartments for receiving parcels.

The company announced this on its Telegram channel.

The space is set up at: Chisinau, 62C Dacia Boulevard. Its total area is 115 square meters. The 35-meter-long line of postal lockers consists of 66 sections and 624 compartments. According to Nova Post, this is the largest space of its type in Moldova.

The location near the airport is oriented both to local residents and passengers of international flights. In particular, Ukrainians planning to fly from Chisinau can send necessary items from Ukraine in advance and collect them after arriving in the Moldovan capital.

Currently, the new space operates exclusively for parcel pickup. In the future, the company plans to introduce additional services — sending parcels and temporary storage of personal belongings. The timelines for launching these services have not been announced yet.

To receive a shipment via a postal locker in Moldova, the customer needs the Nova Post mobile app. After delivery, a notification is sent, and the respective compartment can be opened through the app. According to the operator's general rules, parcels in postal lockers are stored for three days.

The opening of the new format is part of the expansion of Nova Post's logistics infrastructure in Moldova. At the end of June 2026, the company also launched a logistics terminal near Chisinau with an area of 3800 square meters and a capacity of up to 10,000 parcels per hour.
