On October 21, power outages will continue in Ukraine: schedules announced
On Wednesday, October 21, hourly power outage schedules will continue to apply in parts of Ukraine. The restrictions will affect household consumers, industrial enterprises, and businesses.
This was reported on October 20 by the national energy company Ukrenergo.
According to energy experts' forecast, power supply restrictions will be in effect almost throughout the entire day — from 06:00 to 23:59. Two types of schedules are provided:
- From 06:00 to 23:59 — capacity limitation schedules for industrial consumers in some regions of Ukraine.
- From 06:00 to 23:59 — hourly power outage schedules for all consumer categories, amounting to one to two queues.
Ukrenergo explained that the need for restrictions is related to the consequences of massive Russian attacks on the energy infrastructure. Damage to energy facilities continues to complicate stable power supply to consumers.
At the same time, the situation in the energy system remains unstable. The company warned that the timing and volume of outages may change depending on the condition of equipment and the consequences of new Russian shelling.
Residents are advised to follow the messages of local distribution system operators — regional energy companies. They publish current outage schedules for specific settlements, streets, and addresses.
Energy workers also called on consumers to use electricity sparingly after supply is restored according to schedule. In particular, it is recommended not to turn on several powerful electrical appliances simultaneously to avoid additional load on damaged networks.
Recall that on October 20, power supply restrictions were also in effect in Ukraine. In some regions, hourly outages of up to two queues were applied, and capacity limitations were set for industry throughout the country.
