Searches at the National Bank did not cause panic in the foreign exchange market

There is no reaction of the currency market to the searches in the office of the head of the NBU Andriy Pyshnyi.

As of 11:00 Kyiv time, the situation on the interbank currency market is calm, without any signs of rush. After the currency intervention carried out immediately after the opening of trading, quotes for non-cash dollars began to decline and by the time of writing this article fell to 45.035 UAH on the "bid" position, i.e., returned to the level from which trading started today.

The euro on the interbank currency market of Ukraine on Wednesday is trading in a narrow range of 50.52-50.56 UAH on the "bid" position - at the same level as yesterday. On the international currency market FOREX, the euro again began to decline after a two-day correction, during which it rose to 1.1261 dollars. Problems in the Eurozone countries are putting pressure on the euro, preventing it from growing further.
