Russia twice attacked a company in Chernihiv: a person died in the second strike

On October 21, Russian troops twice attacked a private enterprise in Chernihiv. As a result of a repeated drone strike, one person who was near the explosion site died. Another person sustained acoustic trauma.

This was reported by the head of the Chernihiv City Military Administration, Dmytro Bryzhynskyi. The Chernihiv City Council also confirmed information about the repeated attack on the enterprise.

The first strike on the enterprise was carried out by Russian troops in the morning of October 21. At 08:22, Bryzhynskyi reported the attack on one of the city's production facilities, noting that its consequences were being clarified.

Later, the head of the CMA reported that one person sustained acoustic trauma as a result of the strike. The victim received necessary medical care on the spot.

At around 11:00, Russian forces attacked the same enterprise again. According to Suspilne, referring to the city council, the territory of the private enterprise attacked a few hours earlier was hit again.

At 11:35, Bryzhynskyi reported that a person died as a result of the repeated drone strike. According to him, the deceased was near the explosion site.

The name of the enterprise, the nature of its activities, and the extent of damage are not yet disclosed by local authorities. Also, there is no confirmed information about a possible shutdown of the production facility.

In local Telegram channels after the explosions, reports about smoke over Chernihiv were published. There were also speculations about a drone of the "Banderol" type hitting the Khimvolokno area. However, there is currently no official confirmation of the drone type used or the exact location of the strike.

This is not the first attack on Chernihiv's economic infrastructure in the past day. On the evening of October 20, a Russian drone also hit a transport infrastructure facility in the city. A fire broke out at the scene, but according to updated data from the Chernihiv CMA, there were no casualties.

Thus, over the past day, a transport facility and a private enterprise came under Russian strikes in Chernihiv. The consequences for their further operation are being clarified.
