Selling prices for cash dollars in wholesale exchange offices in Kyiv continue to rise slowly, reacting to increased demand from the population. Today by the end of the day, the selling rate for cash "American" among the capital's wholesalers increased by 2 kopecks compared to yesterday – to 45.18 UAH.

In Lviv by the evening the dollar was sold at 45.17 UAH, in Dnipro and Odesa – at 45.20 UAH, and in Kharkiv – at 45.24 UAH. At the same time, in Odesa the selling price did not change, in Kharkiv it increased by 3 kopecks, in Dnipro – by 5 kopecks, while in Lviv – on the contrary, it decreased by 2 kopecks compared to yesterday. As we can see, no common trend is visible in the cash market today. There is a process of equalizing exchange rates between different regions. In the capital, daily, even by a couple of kopecks, but the price tags are growing.

The price difference between cash and non-cash dollars today narrowed to 12.5 kopecks. The cash dollar continues to be more expensive.

Ukrainian banks by Wednesday evening mostly continued to increase cash exchange rates, but in some banks a decrease in price tags was recorded. The cheapest dollar was sold by the Kyiv branch of Poltava-Bank – at 45.10 UAH (5 kopecks cheaper than Tuesday's minimums), and the most expensive – Zaporizhzhia Metabank at 45.55 UAH (the price has been stable for three days in a row).

Slowly but surely the selling price of cash euro is rising. In Ukrainian banks by Wednesday evening, the minimum selling price increased to 50.75 UAH in Oxi Bank.

It is worth noting that, unlike previous years when the hryvnia fell sharply – both on the interbank and cash markets, nothing similar is observed now. However, perhaps everything is still ahead. Meanwhile, the NBU is doing everything possible to prevent panic among the population at least on the currency front.
