For the second day in a row, some stabilization is observed on the cash currency market. In Kyiv, as yesterday, wholesale exchange offices are selling the ordinary (“white”) dollar at a minimum of 45.17-45.20 UAH. Offers of small (small-wholesale) amounts at 45.15 UAH are beginning to appear.
In Dnipro the dollar is sold today at 45.20 UAH, in Odesa – at 45.24 UAH, in Lutsk, Chernivtsi and Mykolaiv - at 45.25 UAH, in Rivne, Khmelnytskyi and Poltava – at 45.30 UAH. The dollar is sold at the same price in Kharkiv. As we can see, price tags in different regional centers are leveling out, the difference between them is decreasing, which indicates another period of stability on the cash market.
Ukrainian banks by 11:30 sell the dollar at prices ranging from 45.10 UAH at the Kyiv branch of Poltava-Bank to 45.60 UAH at Zaporizhzhia Metabank. As for the euro, at the moment it can be purchased cheapest at 50.79 UAH at Poltava-Bank. Compared to yesterday, the minimum bank selling rate for the dollar has not changed, while the minimum selling rate for the euro has slightly increased, which indicates demand for the European currency.
Overall, as reported by the “Kurs of Ukraine” portal, in Ukraine a noticeable increase in demand for foreign currency has been observed. This is partly related to the seasonal factor, partly to the general deterioration of the situation in the Ukrainian economy and to the increased expectations of business representatives regarding the dollar exchange rate for 2027.
