In Donetsk region, the zone of mandatory evacuation of families with children in a compulsory manner has been expanded. Now it covers all settlements of the Kramatorsk and Sloviansk territorial communities of the Kramatorsk district.
This was reported on October 22 by the head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Vadym Filashkin, in a statement.
The decision applies to the entire territory of the two communities, including Kramatorsk and Sloviansk. Previously, mandatory evacuation of families with children was in effect only in certain settlements and districts of these cities.
According to Filashkin, the decision was made due to the constant deterioration of the security situation. Russian troops attack Kramatorsk and Sloviansk daily, striking residential areas, civilian transport, and places where people gather.
The head of the regional military administration urged parents not to delay departure and not to expose children to danger. He emphasized that the further stay of families with minors in these settlements is associated with high risk to life.
Evacuation will be carried out by specialized groups of the National Police and the State Emergency Service. Children are taken out with parents, guardians, or other legal representatives.
After arriving at the transit point, families will be assisted in organizing further relocation to safer regions of Ukraine. For assistance with evacuation, the Donetsk regional military administration previously published phone numbers: 0-800-500-121 and +380-73-050-01-21.
Recall that on October 11, the authorities expanded the list of territories in Kramatorsk from which it is necessary to evacuate children. That decision concerned certain streets, boulevards, and alleys. Now the restrictions extend to the entire Kramatorsk community, as well as to the neighboring Sloviansk community.
