Selling prices for cash dollars in wholesale exchange offices in Kyiv continue to grow slowly, reacting to increased demand from the population. By the end of today, the selling price of cash dollars at capital wholesalers rose another 1 kopeck compared to yesterday – to 45.19 UAH.

In Kharkiv in the evening the dollar was sold at 45.23 UAH, and in Dnipro, Lviv and Odesa – at 45.25 UAH. Meanwhile, in Odesa and Dnipro the selling price increased by 5 kopecks, in Lviv – by 8 kopecks, and in Kharkiv – on the contrary, decreased by 1 kopeck.

Today at the closing of trading on the interbank currency market, a new historical maximum price was set for non-cash dollar – 45.17 UAH on the "bid" position. The price difference between cash and non-cash dollar sharply narrowed from 12.5 kopecks yesterday to 2 kopecks today. Cash dollar remains more expensive.

Ukrainian banks by Thursday evening mainly continued to raise cash exchange rates, although in some banks a decrease was recorded. The cheapest dollar was sold by Oxi Bank – at 45.10 UAH (same as Wednesday), and the most expensive – Zaporizhzhia Metabank at 45.65 UAH (10 kopecks more expensive than yesterday).

Cash Euro did not rise today. In Ukrainian banks by Thursday evening the minimum selling price remained at 50.75 UAH in Oxi Bank.

There is no sharp growth on the cash currency market, but dollar prices have firmly settled above the psychological level of 45 UAH. It seems that in early November the movement towards 46 UAH per dollar will begin.
