The cash currency market reacted to what is happening on the interbank currency market by raising the selling prices of the dollar in both bank and wholesale exchange offices. In Kyiv on Friday, wholesale exchange offices sell the regular ("white") dollar at a minimum of 45.23–45.25 UAH – 5 kopecks more expensive than on Thursday.

In Mykolaiv and Odesa, the dollar is sold today at 45.25 UAH, in Kharkiv – at 45.30 UAH, in Chernihiv – at 45.35 UAH, in Poltava – at 45.40 UAH. The increase across regional centers over the day is about 5–10 kopecks per dollar.

Ukrainian banks by 11:30 sell the dollar at prices from 45.20 UAH in the Kyiv branch of Poltava-Bank to 45.70 UAH in Zaporizhzhia's Metabank. As for the euro, currently it can be purchased cheapest at 50.83 UAH in Cominbank and Raiffeisen Bank.

Compared to yesterday, the minimum bank selling rate of the dollar rose by 5 kopecks, and the minimum selling rate of the euro – by 4 kopecks. The euro in Ukraine is rising despite falling globally against the dollar.

As previously reported by the portal "Kurs Ukrainy", demand for foreign currency in Ukraine has noticeably increased. This is partly due to seasonal factors, partly due to the general deterioration of the situation in the Ukrainian economy and increased expectations of business representatives regarding the dollar exchange rate for 2027.
