Russian forces attacked with a drone on the afternoon of October 23 one of the enterprises in the northern part of Chernihiv. As a result of the strike, the enterprise buildings were destroyed. One person was killed and four others were injured. According to preliminary information, people may still be under the rubble.
This was reported by the head of the Chernihiv City Military Administration, Dmytro Bryzhynskyi, who released several clarifications regarding the consequences of the attack throughout the day.
As of 14:21, the death of one person and the injury of four others have been confirmed. According to Bryzhynskyi, two of the wounded are being taken to the hospital. Emergency medical aid is being provided to two other victims.
Earlier, at 14:04, the head of the MBA reported that the enterprise was damaged as a result of the Russian strike. According to preliminary data, people may have been under the debris.
Information about the extent of damage, the possible number of people under the rubble, and the consequences of the attack for the operation of the enterprise is being clarified.
Initially, at 13:54, Bryzhynskyi reported the attack on the terminal of "Nova Poshta" in the north of the city. However, at 14:00 he clarified that the Russian drone fell on the territory of one of Chernihiv's enterprises, without specifying its name.
Thus, the latest MBA reports confirm the destruction of the enterprise, but do not contain a final clarification about the affiliation of the damaged object with "Nova Poshta". There is currently no information about possible consequences for parcel delivery.
This is not the first attack by Russian forces on Chernihiv enterprises in recent days. On October 21, Russian drones twice struck a private enterprise in the city. Then, as a result of the повторного attack, one person was killed, and another received an acoustic trauma.
