American billionaire Elon Musk has again made accusations against Ukrainian leadership. He stated that representatives of Ukrainian elites are allegedly enriching themselves on international financial aid, and that part of American funds, through corruption schemes, returns to the USA to finance political campaigns.
The entrepreneur wrote about this on October 23 on social network X.
According to Musk, in Ukraine there is a significant gap between the interests of the political and economic elites and ordinary citizens.
The businessman stated that representatives of the elites have allegedly substantially increased their fortunes thanks to hundreds of billions of dollars in international aid that has flowed to Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale war. At the same time, according to him, ordinary Ukrainians face mobilization and risk dying at the front.
Musk also accused American politicians of possibly using funds allocated for aid to Ukraine to finance their own election campaigns.
According to his version, part of American taxpayers' money allegedly returns to the USA through several intermediary structures used for money laundering, and is then directed to political purposes.
The entrepreneur suggested that this explains the heightened attention of certain American politicians to supporting Ukraine.
At the same time, Musk did not present evidence for his accusations. He did not name any specific Ukrainian officials, American politicians, financial intermediaries, or election campaigns that might have received such funds.
The new statement came amid the ongoing conflict over restrictions on the operation of the Starshield satellite system, developed by SpaceX and used by the Ukrainian military.
Earlier, The Wall Street Journal and CBS News, citing American officials, reported that the decision to limit satellite communication speed for Ukraine was made by Musk after consultations with representatives of the Donald Trump administration.
The entrepreneur himself denied responsibility for these restrictions, stating that the terms of use of the Starshield military system are determined by the U.S. government, and the final decision depends on the president.
On October 23, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that satellite communication speed restrictions continue to operate, despite Trump's statements about restoring its full operation.
At the same time, Musk is actively involved in financing American politics. As previously reported by Kurs.com.ua, the entrepreneur became the largest known donor to the 2026 U.S. midterm elections, contributing about $366 million to support mainly Republican political organizations and candidates.
