On Sunday, October 25, hourly power outage schedules will be in effect in some regions of Ukraine. Restrictions are planned from 07:00 to 23:59, and for industrial enterprises additional capacity restrictions are set from 06:00 to 23:59.
This was reported by the national energy company Ukrenergo. The reason is the consequences of massive Russian attacks on the country's energy infrastructure.
When will power be cut on October 25
According to the published schedule, the following restrictions will be in effect on Sunday:
From 07:00 to 23:59 – hourly outage schedules for all categories of consumers. The volume of restrictions is from one to two groups.
From 06:00 to 23:59 – capacity restriction schedules for industrial enterprises.
However, outages are not planned in all regions of Ukraine. The specific hours of power absence depend on the region, consumer group, and current situation in the power system.
It is important to understand: the period from 07:00 to 23:59 does not mean that every household will be without electricity for the entire time. These are the hours during which power companies may apply outage schedules.
Where to check the outage schedule for your address
The exact time of outages must be clarified with the regional electricity distribution operator – oblenergo.
The list of operators with links to official schedule pages is published on the website of the State Energy Supervision Inspectorate of Ukraine.
Kyiv residents can check outages at a specific address on the DTEK Kyiv Electric Networks website.
Ukrenergo warns that due to Russian shelling, the situation in the power system may change during the day. Therefore, regional operators may adjust previously published schedules.
If emergency outages are introduced in a region, the usual hourly schedule may temporarily not apply.
Power companies urge to monitor updates on official oblenergo resources and consume electricity sparingly after power supply is restored. This helps reduce the load on the damaged power system.
