On Monday, October 26, the rise in non-cash dollar quotations continued immediately on the interbank foreign exchange market. By 11:30 they reached the level of 45.50 UAH on the "bid" position, where some slowdown in growth was observed. The National Bank began actively intervening right after the start of trading, satisfying buyers' requests, but there are far more willing to buy currency than sellers. In the first 10 minutes alone, the NBU sold around 110-115 million dollars, but this is clearly not enough.

At 11:26, the volume of transactions in the Bloomberg trading system amounted to 169 million dollars – noticeably more than at the same time last Friday.

The euro on the interbank foreign exchange market of Ukraine is rising on Monday in parallel with the non-cash dollar, and by now it has already climbed from 50.58 UAH to 51.00 UAH on the "bid" position. As we can see, events on the international FOREX market have ceased to have a significant impact on the euro exchange rate in Ukraine; the key factor is the fall of the hryvnia against foreign currencies.

Meanwhile, on FOREX the euro is trading in the range of 1.1202-1.1226 dollars in anticipation of Wednesday, when the key event of this week is to occur.
