The Defense Forces of Ukraine struck a workshop of the Russian plant "Energia", which produces power sources for "Iskander-M" missiles and guided aerial bombs. At the same time, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed significant destruction at two other enterprises of the Russian military-industrial complex - "Proton-Electrotex" and "Togliattikauchuk".

This was reported on October 26 by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, publishing the results of strikes on October 23-26.

According to the assessment of the Ukrainian military command, striking the enterprises complicates Russia's production of power elements, electronic components and materials used in the manufacture of missile weapons.

In Yelets, production of batteries for missiles and aerial bombs was attacked

On October 25 and on the night of October 26, Ukrainian units struck the "Energia" enterprise in the city of Yelets, Lipetsk Oblast of the Russian Federation.

According to the General Staff, a workshop producing power elements for Russian weapons was hit. A fire broke out on the factory territory.

The Ukrainian military command calls "Energia" the only manufacturer in Russia of batteries for universal planning and correction modules (UMPC), which are installed on aerial bombs to increase their range and accuracy.

The enterprise also produces power sources for operational-tactical missile systems "Iskander-M" and sea-based cruise missiles.

These are specialized components that affect the operation of on-board equipment of weapons. Disruption of their serial production may affect the further assembly of finished missiles and aircraft means of destruction.

The plant has repeatedly been the target of Ukrainian attacks. In particular, the Defense Forces struck "Energia" in July 2025. At that time, the General Staff reported explosions and shutdown of production facilities.

As noted by Deutsche Welle, the attack on October 25 was already the sixth on this enterprise. Earlier strikes on the plant were also recorded in May 2025 and January 2026.

Russian authorities confirmed the attack on the industrial zone of Yelets and the fire. The governor of Lipetsk Oblast, Igor Artamonov, reported the death of a security guard at one of the enterprises. Six more people sought medical help.

At the same time, Russian officials did not specify at which particular enterprise the worker died, and did not disclose the extent of damage to the "Energia" plant.

In Orel, the main production workshop of "Proton-Electrotex" was destroyed

The General Staff also published updated results of the strike on "Proton-Electrotex" in the city of Orel on October 23.

According to data confirmed by the Ukrainian command, the main microcircuit production workshop was destroyed, the enterprise building and server equipment were damaged.

"Proton-Electrotex" specializes in the production of power semiconductor electronics, including diodes, thyristors, IGBT modules and power electronic units.

Such components are used in electrical engineering equipment and power supply management systems. According to the General Staff, the enterprise's products are also used in the production of components for Russian cruise and ballistic missiles.

Additional confirmation of damage was received by journalists from Radio Svoboda, who examined satellite images of the industrial site.

The images show damage to two buildings of the "Proton" complex, in particular the building where the production facilities of "Proton-Electrotex" are located.

This confirms physical damage to the enterprise, but the duration of possible downtime and the manufacturer's ability to resume production are not yet known.

At "Togliattikauchuk", production of synthetic rubber was damaged

Significant damage was also recorded at the petrochemical complex "Togliattikauchuk" in the city of Tolyatti, Samara Oblast of the Russian Federation, which was attacked on October 24.

According to updated data from the General Staff, the technological pipeline, two butyl rubber production units and one rectification unit were damaged at the enterprise.

These are important elements of the production complex that ensures the output of synthetic rubbers and other petrochemical products.

Damage to the production facilities of the plant was also previously reported by OSINT analysts Exilenova+, who studied satellite images of the area.

Analysts identified damage to at least two production facilities, including an isobutane dehydrogenation workshop and a unit associated with the technological complex for production and purification of isobutylene.

Isobutylene is an important raw material for the production of butyl rubber, so damage to the equipment may create problems for related production processes.

"Togliattikauchuk" has been part of the Russian group "Tatneft" since 2019. The enterprise produces synthetic rubbers, hydrocarbon fractions, organic synthesis products and additives for automobile gasoline.

According to the company's own data, the complex provides about a quarter of the Russian synthetic rubber market. This production is used primarily in the tire industry and the production of rubber goods.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also links the complex's products to the chains of manufacturing solid rocket fuel for tactical and ballistic missiles.

Thus, the consequences of the strike may affect both the Russian military-industrial complex and civilian consumers of petrochemical products.

At the same time, there is no information about the complete stoppage of the complex, the scale of production decline, or repair terms for the damaged units.

This is not the first attack on the enterprise. Earlier, "Kurs Ukrainy reported on the strike on "Togliattikauchuk" on June 12, 2026. At that time, Russian local authorities confirmed damage to the industrial facility without naming it.

Near Donetsk, a strike drone preparation facility was hit

In addition to Russian industrial enterprises, the General Staff clarified the results of a strike on a storage, preparation and launch site for strike drones near temporarily occupied Donetsk on October 23.

According to the Ukrainian command, three buildings used for preparation and loading of strike UAVs were damaged, as well as one launching rail.

The General Staff believes that striking this facility reduces the capabilities of Russian troops to use strike drones against Ukraine.

Strikes aimed at different links in weapon production

A feature of the recent series of attacks was the simultaneous hitting of different segments of Russian military-industrial support.

"Energia" produces power sources for weapons, "Proton-Electrotex" - electronic components, and "Togliattikauchuk" provides production of petrochemical raw materials, part of which, according to the Ukrainian command, is linked to rocketry.

Damage to such enterprises may disrupt the supply of components and raw materials, as well as require additional costs for repairs, replacement of equipment and restructuring of production processes.

However, the General Staff has not yet published an assessment of total losses, the duration of production stoppages, or possible reduction in Russian missile output as a result of the latest strikes.

Therefore, it is premature to speak about a complete cessation of manufacture of specific types of missiles or aerial bombs based on these reports.
