Emergency power outages have been in effect in Kyiv for the second day, introduced on November 3 due to the difficult situation in the energy system after Russian attacks. Despite reports of a possible return to hourly schedules, stabilizing the capital's electricity supply has not yet been achieved.

This was reported by DTEK on November 4.

According to energy officials, emergency outages continue under the command of NEC "Ukrenergo". Regular hourly schedules are currently not in effect.

On the morning of November 4, it was reported that emergency outages were canceled and the capital returned to schedules. However, soon after, DTEK published a new message stating that it is still impossible to cancel emergency restrictions.

"So far, it is not possible to cancel emergency outages in the capital. Schedules are currently suspended," the company emphasized.

Emergency outages in Kyiv were introduced on the morning of November 3 after massive Russian strikes on energy infrastructure. Since then, energy workers have been working to restore damaged equipment and stabilize electricity supply.

During emergency outages, it is impossible to predict the exact time of power loss and restoration. Previously published schedules are not applied, and outage duration depends on the operational situation in the network.

DTEK noted that repair crews are working almost continuously, interrupting work only when the security situation requires it.

The company has not yet provided specific timelines for Kyiv's return to hourly schedules. Residents of the capital will be informed about changes to the power supply regime separately.
