In Kyiv on November 5, at the command of NEC "Ukrenergo", emergency power outages were applied in parts of Svyatoshynskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, and Podilskyi districts. During emergency restrictions, the usual hourly outage schedules do not work.
This was reported by the energy company DTEK on its official Telegram channel.
Emergency outages affect only certain parts of the three districts of the capital, not their entire territory. Energy workers did not specify which streets are affected or when electricity supply is expected to be restored. During emergency outages, power may be cut outside the hours provided by previously published schedules.
The day before, on November 4, emergency outages were again introduced in Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast. This happened shortly after the announcement of the cancellation of emergency restrictions and a return to hourly schedules.
Ukrenergo previously explained that due to damage to energy infrastructure from Russian attacks, the situation in the power system remains difficult. Restriction regimes may change depending on the state of the networks and available capacity.
DTEK urges consumers to follow the company's official announcements, where information about further changes in the capital's electricity supply will be published.
