Monitors warned of a possible ballistic missile attack on Kyiv
Russia may attempt a new strike with ballistic missiles on Kyiv within the next two days. This was reported by Ukrainian monitoring resources tracking the air situation.
According to their unconfirmed assessment, Russian troops could have accumulated up to 25 ballistic missiles for a possible attack. The publications also allow for the use of decoys intended to complicate the work of the Ukrainian air defense.
Monitoring channels are not official sources of military information. At the time of publication, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Kyiv City Military Administration had not confirmed the preparation of the strike, its possible timing, or the claimed number of missiles.
Residents of Kyiv are urged to respond only to official air raid alerts and, when they are announced, immediately proceed to shelters. Ballistic missiles reach the capital within minutes, so staying at home after a warning can be dangerous.
During an alert, official information should be checked via the messages of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Kyiv CMA, and the ‘Air Alert’ application. Publishing the activity of air defense, impact locations, and the movement of military equipment is prohibited.
