Koretsky told how the state will help businesses save themselves from Russian attacks

Ukrainian companies will get priority access to state-owned premises suitable for warehouses. The new measure is meant to help businesses distribute their inventory across multiple sites and reduce risks to logistics.

The Cabinet of Ministers tasked the responsible bodies with preparing a list of facilities that can be offered to entrepreneurs. A separate deadline has been set for compiling the list, but the prime minister did not specify the exact date in the published statement.

After the list is prepared, businesses will be able to assess available premises and use them to create additional storage sites. The private sector, which needs to disperse products, equipment, and other inventory, is specifically to receive priority access.

This model will allow companies not to concentrate all goods in one large logistics center. Damage to a single warehouse could simultaneously halt supplies, lead to product loss, and disrupt order fulfillment.

Distributing inventory among several facilities should increase the resilience of trading and manufacturing companies during the war. Additional sites can also be used to build regional reserves and shorten delivery routes.

Before the premises are handed over, the authorities must determine their technical condition, area, location, and suitability for storing different categories of goods. How many facilities the list will include and in which regions they are located have not yet been disclosed.

The government also has not published the application procedure, selection criteria for companies, or financial terms of use for the premises. Priority access itself does not mean that state real estate will be provided free of charge.

A detailed mechanism is to be presented after the inventory of properties is completed and the list of available sites is approved.
