The attack on the Rozetka warehouse caused the company billions in losses

A Russian strike on Rozetka's largest distribution center in Brovary caused billions of hryvnias in damages to the company. This was reported by marketplace co-owner Vladyslav Chechotkin.

The company has not yet disclosed the exact amount of damages. The final assessment will depend on the condition of the building, warehouse equipment, vehicles, and the inventory stored inside.

The distribution center handled the receipt, storage, sorting, and preparation of goods for shipment to customers. Damage to such a facility simultaneously affects several logistics stages — from processing incoming products to order assembly and transfer to delivery services.

Chechotkin warned that the strike’s consequences may temporarily degrade service quality. Customers may face longer processing and delivery times for individual orders. However, the specific regions and product categories that could experience delays were not named.

Rozetka continues its operations, but the company needs to redistribute part of its logistics flows and loads among other sites. How long it will take to restore the previous service speed remains unknown.

The damages are not limited to the need for repairs or restoration of the warehouse infrastructure. The company must also inventory its production and determine the volume of goods that were destroyed or damaged.

Additional consequences may arise for entrepreneurs selling products through the marketplace. However, Rozetka has not yet disclosed how many partners were affected by the strike and what compensation procedure may apply to lost goods.

This is not the first Rozetka facility damaged by Russian attacks. In June, a strike destroyed one of the company’s branches in Kyiv. Employees were unharmed in that incident.
