A new act of vandalism was committed against a Ukrainian memorial in Poland
Unknown individuals damaged a Ukrainian memorial site in the Białystok tract near the village of Liski, Lublin Voivodeship. The incident was reported by the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Poland.
According to the diplomatic mission, the site is a place of remembrance for fallen Ukrainian soldiers. The embassy did not specify the nature of the damage, but noted that the memorial site had been desecrated repeatedly.

Ukrainian diplomats called on the competent Polish authorities to take the necessary procedural steps, establish the circumstances of the incident, and bring the perpetrators to justice. The Polish side was also asked to ensure the restoration of the damaged site.

The embassy stressed that burial sites and memorial signs must remain outside political and historical disputes. It also expressed concern over reports of hostility and cases of aggression against Ukrainians in Poland.
The Embassy of Ukraine has officially appealed to the Polish side regarding the incident. There is currently no information about the start of an investigation or any suspects.
