The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center warned of dangerous weather phenomena expected in Ukraine on Saturday, August 8.

According to forecasters, significant rain and thunderstorms will occur in some regions. Hail is possible in places, as well as sudden strong winds and squalls.

Bad weather will be unevenly distributed across the country: the most intense phenomena are expected in certain oblasts and districts. Therefore, residents are advised to take into account local warnings from hydrometeorological centers, which are updated as the weather situation changes.

Thunderstorms, hail, and squally winds can complicate the situation on roads, lead to falling branches and trees, and intense precipitation can cause local flooding. During strong winds, it is recommended to stay away from trees, advertising structures, and power lines.

UkrHydrometcenter notes that meteorological warnings are issued under potentially dangerous weather conditions for the population, infrastructure, and the environment. Operational data may be adjusted depending on the development of atmospheric processes.
