General Staff named the hottest front lines on August 10
Since the beginning of August 10, 170 combat clashes have occurred on the front. The most intense fighting was recorded in the Konstantinovka and Pokrovsk directions.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in an operational summary as of 10:00 PM.
Over the day, Russian forces carried out 59 airstrikes and dropped 180 guided aerial bombs. In addition, 6343 kamikaze drones were used in attacks, and 1909 shelling incidents targeted positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.
In the Konstantinovka direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 22 Russian assaults. The enemy launched another 20 attacks in the Pokrovsk direction.
According to preliminary data from the General Staff, 34 Russian servicemen were eliminated in the Pokrovsk direction over the day, with another 23 wounded. Ukrainian forces also destroyed three vehicles and five pieces of special enemy equipment. Four artillery systems and three more vehicles were damaged. Additionally, 335 drones of various types were destroyed or suppressed.
In the Liman direction, Russian troops made 15 advance attempts, with one ongoing at the time the summary was published. In the South-Slobozhansk direction, seven assaults were recorded, and in the Gulyai-Polye direction, seven attacks, three of which were still ongoing.
In the Slavyansk direction, Ukrainian troops halted four enemy advance attempts, and another four attacks were repelled in the Alexandrovsk direction. In the Orekhov direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled two attacks, with two more clashes ongoing.
In the Kupiansk and Kramatorsk directions, the General Staff noted one Russian attack each. In the Dnieper direction, there were no enemy assault actions during the day.
