Passengers of the Kyiv – Chisinau train have easier access to the airport
Passengers of the international train No. 351/352 Kyiv – Chisinau can now get to the international airport of the capital of Moldova more conveniently. For this, a stop is provided at Revaka station, from which travelers are taken free of charge by a shuttle.
The new scheme allows passengers heading to a flight to avoid going first to the central railway station of Chisinau. They can get off the train at Revaka and transfer to free transport to the airport.
The station is located near the air hub, so this route reduces transfer time and helps avoid additional expenses for a taxi or other transport.
How the route via Revaka works
Ukrzaliznytsia together with the Moldovan side began testing the connection via Revaka station on April 13, 2026. The Kyiv – Chisinau train was extended to the station near the airport, where passengers are met by a special free shuttle.
For Ukrainians, Chisinau remains one of the popular foreign aviation hubs. Due to the closure of Ukrainian airspace, passengers often combine train travel with onward flights from airports of neighboring countries.
Train No. 351/352 connects Kyiv and Chisinau and allows continuing the journey by plane directly via the Moldovan capital. When planning a trip, passengers should consider the time of the railway journey, the transfer from Revaka, and the necessary time margin before check-in for the flight.
Tickets for the Kyiv – Chisinau train are available through official channels of Ukrzaliznytsia, including the app and the carrier's website.
