NASA showed Crimea as part of Russia during eclipse broadcast
On the evening of August 12, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) showed Crimea as "Russian" during a broadcast of a solar eclipse, according to Європейська правда.
On Thursday, August 12, a solar eclipse occurred, with its path passing through Greenland, Iceland, and Spain, and NASA broadcast the eclipse live.
A more detailed analysis of the footage shows that Crimea is visually presented as "Russian" and visually separated from Ukraine.


Recall that in 2018, the British newspaper The Times had to apologize for a map with a "Russian" Crimea.
In 2021, following appeals from Ukraine, Apple corrected maps in the Apple Music for Artists app.
In 2023, such a map was used in a video by the Hungarian government.
