The General Staff named the hottest front directions for August 14

As of 22:00 on August 14, 194 combat clashes occurred at the front. The most intense fighting continued on the Kostiantynivka, Pokrovsk, and Sloviansk directions.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

During the day, Russian troops launched 52 airstrikes, using 159 guided aerial bombs. The enemy also employed 7,023 kamikaze drones for attacks and carried out 2,120 shellings of positions of Ukrainian military and settlements.

The highest activity of Russian troops was recorded in the Kostiantynivka direction. The Defense Forces repelled 27 enemy assaults, and three more combat clashes continued at the time of publication of the evening summary.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian troops attempted 18 attacks. According to preliminary data from the General Staff, Ukrainian soldiers eliminated 32 Russian servicemen there, and nine others were wounded.

In addition, in this direction, the Defense Forces destroyed a vehicle, an electronic warfare device, a drone control point, three ammunition depots, and 42 enemy personnel shelters. Also, 393 drones of various types were destroyed or suppressed. Data on Russian losses are preliminary.

In the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian soldiers stopped 15 attempts by Russian units to advance, and one more battle was ongoing. In the Kupiansk direction, the General Staff recorded nine attacks, and in the South Sloboda direction — seven.

In the Hulai-Pole direction, the Defense Forces repelled five attacks, and in the Oleksandrivka direction, Russian troops made four attempts to advance. Three combat clashes occurred in the North Sloboda and Kursk directions.

In the Kramatorsk and Dnipro directions, Russian troops did not conduct offensive actions during the day. In other sectors of the front, according to the General Staff, no significant changes in the situation occurred.
