Ukrainian startups get access to $100 thousand Cloudflare credits

Ukrainian tech startups will be able to apply for Cloudflare cloud credits worth up to $100 thousand. The new opportunity became available thanks to a partnership between the Ukrainian Startup Fund and the American technology company.

Teams that have previously participated or are currently participating in programs and initiatives of the Ukrainian Startup Fund can apply, reports AIN.UA.

This is not a cash grant that a company can spend on any needs. The credits are intended to pay for Cloudflare's technology products and cloud infrastructure - meaning they allow startups to reduce costs for developing, launching, and scaling their own services.

Who can receive support

To participate, a startup must meet a number of criteria. In particular, the company must be founded and registered no more than ten years ago, and its funding stage must be no higher than Series B.

Additionally, the startup must have raised investments within the last 12 months, be developing a technology product, have an active website, and have a public presence on at least one of the platforms - LinkedIn, X, or GitHub.

Another condition relates to connection with Ukraine: the founders and the majority of the startup's team must be Ukrainians.

What can Cloudflare credits be used for

The credits can be used for developing, launching, protecting, and scaling web applications and AI-based products.

Available areas include AI services, CDN, DDoS protection, network traffic management, image and video processing, server infrastructure, data storage, and machine learning tools.

Cloudflare has a separate global program Cloudflare for Startups, which offers companies several levels of support. Currently, they include credits of $5 thousand, $25 thousand, $100 thousand, and up to $250 thousand depending on the stage of development and compliance with program criteria.

In particular, the $100 thousand support level in the standard Cloudflare program is designed for startups that have already raised capital and are in the stage of active growth. To receive it, Cloudflare also uses a network of approved venture funds and accelerators.

Under the standard terms of Cloudflare for Startups, the provided credits can be used within one year or until they are fully exhausted. Individual products have their own usage limits.
