Defense Forces carried out a series of strikes on Russian military facilities
On the night of August 19, the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck several facilities of Russian troops in the temporarily occupied territories. Among the targets were a bridge used for military logistics, drone storage facilities, a UAV control point, and a repeater in Crimea.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the Zaporizhzhia region, Ukrainian forces hit a road bridge across the Molochna River near Molochansk. According to the General Staff, Russian troops used the structure to support their military logistics.
In addition, three storage facilities for unmanned aerial vehicles were struck in the temporarily occupied territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The General Staff also reported a strike on a ground-based repeater used to control Russian strike drones of the "Geran" and "Gerbera" types in temporarily occupied Crimea.
Another target was a UAV control point in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region. The Defense Forces also struck a logistics support warehouse in the Luhansk region and an area of concentration of Russian weapons and military equipment.
The extent of damage to the facilities and Russian losses are being clarified. The General Staff did not disclose additional information about the means by which the strikes were carried out.
Earlier, on August 4, the Defense Forces reported strikes on bridges used by Russian troops for military logistics, including a railway bridge across the Molochna River in the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region.
