Russia struck critical infrastructure in Kyiv: possible water problems

Russia struck a critical infrastructure facility in Kyiv. As a result of the damage, residents of several districts of the capital may experience water supply problems, Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported.

According to the mayor, such a strike on a critical infrastructure facility in the capital occurred for the first time in a long while.

Klitschko warned that the consequences of the damage could affect the water supply in several districts of Kyiv. The scale of possible disruptions will depend on the state of the infrastructure after the attack and the progress of restoration work.

Russian troops repeatedly attacked Kyiv on August 20. During the day, the capital recorded the aftermath of strikes in several districts, with damage to residential, commercial and infrastructure facilities.

City services continue to deal with the consequences of the attack and restore damaged infrastructure.
