Russians attacked along the entire front: General Staff names the hottest directions

Since the beginning of the day on August 25, 173 combat clashes have occurred at the front. Russian troops attacked most actively in the Pokrovsk and Konstantinovka directions, where 29 and 22 assaults were recorded, respectively.

This is stated in the operational summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 22:00.

During the day, the Russian army carried out 58 airstrikes, using 201 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the enemy used 6,517 kamikaze drones and carried out 1,965 shellings of positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements.

Most attacks near Pokrovsk

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian troops tried to advance 29 times in the areas of Svitlodarsk, Novyi Donbass, Annovka, Belitskoye, Shevchenko, Myrnoye, Vasilivka, Sergeevka, Udachnoye, Belyakovka, Muravka, Molodetskoye, Novopavlovka, Gruzskoye and Chernigovka.

According to preliminary data from the General Staff, on this sector Ukrainian defenders eliminated 48 Russian soldiers during the day, and 24 were wounded.

Defense forces also destroyed a Russian tank, two artillery systems, 20 vehicles, two units of special equipment, and 31 shelters. In addition, 371 drones of various types were destroyed or suppressed.

Another 22 Russian assaults were repelled by Ukrainian defenders in the Konstantinovka direction — near Konstantinovka, Il’inovka, Dolgaya Balka, Rusin Yar and Ivanopolye.

11 attacks recorded in the Slavyansk direction

In the Slavyansk direction, the Defense Forces stopped 11 attempts by Russian troops to advance near Dibrova, Krivaya Luka and Ray-Aleksandrovka. As of 22:00, one battle was ongoing there.

In the Yuzhno-Slobozhansky direction, Russians assaulted positions of Ukrainian units seven times near Izbichnoye, Staritsa and Volchansk. One clash was also ongoing.

In the Kupyansk direction, Russian troops conducted two assaults in the direction of Kurilovka and Kovsharovka. In the Liman direction, Ukrainian forces repelled two attempts to advance near Shiykovka, and one battle was ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk direction, three Russian assaults were recorded in the area of Yurkovka. Three attacks each occurred in the Aleksandrovsky and Gulyaypole directions.

In the Orekhov direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled one attack near Pavlovka. In the Pridneprovsky direction, no Russian assault actions were recorded during the day.
