The National Anti-Corruption Bureau is conducting investigative actions in the Prosecutor General's Office as part of a special operation to uncover a criminal organization, according to Українська правда.

"NABU and SAP are conducting a special operation to uncover a criminal organization headed by an official of the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine, involved in protecting a network of fraudulent call centers and laundering property."

According to UP sources in business circles, NABU and SAP have already detained the head of the cyber department of the PGO, Serhiy Kropyva.

UP also managed to film NABU officers with ladders climbing over the fence into the building of the Prosecutor General's Office.

As "UP" wrote in 2022, Prosecutor General Iryna Venediktova appointed a former colleague of her husband to a leadership position without a competition.

At that time, Venediktova created a new department, which was supposed to be responsible for both economic crimes and cybersecurity of the state. The new department was headed by Kropyva without a competition. He previously worked in the cyber police: as head of the Kyiv department and first deputy head.

Before his current position in the PGO, Kropyva worked as deputy chairman of the Odesa Regional State Administration in the team of Oleh Kiper.
