Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko does not plan to submit his resignation of his own accord amid the scandal that arose after the release of materials from the NABU investigation "Carthage", according to Українська правда.

He stated this during a conversation with journalists on Monday.

"I do not feel that I should do it. There is a procedure: the Verkhovna Rada can vote, the president can initiate the resignation. If they do that, I will, of course, comply. I am not clinging to the position.
But there is also a second thing — the team. I can't do anything without the team. If the whole team decides that I should resign, then I will do that as well."

Details: Kravchenko also said that on Tuesday he was summoned to a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada committee on law enforcement, after which he plans to speak with journalists.

Additionally, according to the Prosecutor General, he has a meeting scheduled with the president.
