Putin will be ready for new talks with Ukraine after September 20 - source

Kremlin owner Vladimir Putin will be ready for a new start of the peace negotiation process in Ukraine after the completion of the parliamentary elections in Russia on September 18-20. This was told by a source in the Elysee Palace, referring to the results of a discussion in Kyiv in the USA-Ukraine-E3 format, which took place on September 6, according to Європейська правда.

At Macron's office they say that Putin may return to the negotiating table after September 20, when the parliamentary elections in the Russian Federation are completed.

According to the interlocutor of "European Pravda", American negotiators Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, after their visit to Moscow and meeting with Putin on September 5, during the meeting in Kyiv on September 6, conveyed to the negotiators from Ukraine and security advisers from France, Germany and Britain (the E3 states) the new position of the Russian President regarding the possibility of negotiations.

He emphasized that the main message, in his opinion, of the Americans for Ukraine and the E3 representatives is that after the elections to the State Duma of Russia (September 18-20 - "EP") there will be a new readiness of the Kremlin to negotiate, and that it is necessary to begin preparing for the start of such negotiations now.

Moreover, France expects that the E3 states will be involved in some way in the negotiations to be conducted in the Ukraine-USA-Russia format. Furthermore, at Macron's office they reminded that the French in the E3 format have already been involved in the development of a number of documents that the USA used during negotiations with Russia, and are ready to continue doing so.

The interlocutor of "EuroPravda" also stated that the USA supports the concept of European states regarding the continuation of sanctions pressure on Russia.

As "European Pravda" reported, national security advisers from France, Germany and Britain - Emmanuel Bonne, Günter Sautter and Jonathan Powell - after the negotiations in Kyiv with Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner agreed over the coming weeks, together with Ukrainian colleagues, to prepare the conditions with which they will proceed to further negotiations with Russia.

It was also reported that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy after the meeting with the special representatives of his American counterpart Donald Trump announced the preparation of the next meetings and relevant communication.

According to Zelenskyy, during the negotiations in Kyiv several new ideas were proposed regarding the further negotiation process, and they agreed to repeat the meeting in the Ukraine-USA-Europe format soon.
