Zelensky announced a new aid package with air defense from Canada

President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Canada has prepared a new aid package with air defense systems for Ukraine, according to Європейська правда.

He said this during a meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney in Calgary.

The President of Ukraine said that Canada is transferring a "very important package of air defense systems". Zelensky refused to disclose the details and contents of the aid shipment.

"This is a very important package of air defense systems, it is crucial. There is a great shortage in this area in the world, and we are grateful for this", – said Zelensky.

In addition, according to the president, Canada will provide Ukraine with the necessary support for the winter period.

As reported, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky is on a three-day visit to Canada together with First Lady Olena Zelenska.

On the way to Canada, Zelensky stopped in Iceland and met there with the country's foreign minister.

Prior to that, Zelensky and the First Lady were on a two-day visit to Norway, the main reason for which was the funeral of King Harald V. In parallel, the Ukrainian president held a series of meetings, including with defense company executives regarding the "Freya" anti-ballistic missile program.
