Russia strikes Dnipro: number of injured rises to 12

As a result of the Russian strike on Dnipro on the afternoon of September 11, 12 people have already been injured. The attack damaged a private enterprise, garages, and residential buildings.

The increase in the number of injured was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Ganzha. Immediately after the strike, one wounded person was known, later the number rose first to three and seven, and as of 13:10, to 12.

As a result of the attack, a fire broke out in the city. According to the Regional Military Administration, a private enterprise and garages were damaged, and the blast wave knocked out windows in nearby residential buildings.

Mayor of Dnipro Borys Filatov reported that at least nine residential buildings sustained damage. According to preliminary estimates, about 700 windows were blown out. Garages and cars of local residents also burned in the yards.

After permission from rescuers and police, utility services are to begin eliminating the consequences of the attack. City hospitals are receiving the injured, Filatov noted.

According to Suspilne Dnipro, Russian forces used the loitering munition "Banderol". As a result of the strike, five garages were completely destroyed, and about ten more were damaged.

Correspondents also spoke with local residents. One of them said that his mother sustained head and leg injuries. Another told that his daughter was injured, who was at home during the explosion.

This is another Russian strike on Dnipro in recent days. The day before, on September 10, Russian troops attacked the city several times: among the damaged objects was a food industry enterprise, and there were deaths and injuries as a result of the attacks.
