General Staff reports high intensity of fighting in eastern Ukraine

Since the beginning of the day on September 11, 207 combat clashes have occurred on the front. The most intense fighting continued in the Pokrovsk and Konstantinovka directions, where Russian forces launched 26 and 16 attacks respectively.

This is stated in the operational summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 22:00.

Over the day, Russian forces carried out 78 airstrikes, using 233 guided aerial bombs. Additionally, 6,395 kamikaze drones were used in attacks, and positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas came under 1,875 shellings.

The Pokrovsk direction remained the most active. There, Russian forces attempted 26 times to advance toward Belitskoye, Dorozhnoye, Chernigovka, Svetloye, Svyatogorovka, Grishino, Matyashevo, Vasilkovka, Sergeyevka, Udachnoye, and Novopavlovka. As of 22:00, one battle was still ongoing.

According to preliminary data from the General Staff, Ukrainian defenders eliminated 42 Russian servicemen in this direction during the day, and 14 more were wounded.

Also destroyed were eight vehicles, two artillery systems, three units of special equipment, two UAV control points, 40 personnel shelters, and an ammunition depot.

Additionally, Ukrainian forces damaged a Russian tank, six artillery systems, seven vehicles, one multiple rocket launcher system, electronic warfare equipment, and 82 personnel shelters. According to the General Staff, 322 drones of various types were also destroyed or suppressed over the day in the Pokrovsk direction.

In the Konstantinovka direction, the Defense Forces repelled 16 Russian assaults near Konstantinovka and in the directions of Osinovoye, Druzhkovka, Ilyinovka, Nikolaypolye, Volnoye, and Step. By evening, three attacks were ongoing.

In the South Slobozhanka direction, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions ten times in the directions of Liman, Kazachya Lopan, Siminovka, Vilcha, and Komissarovo. One battle was ongoing.

In the Kupyansk direction, six attempts to advance were recorded in the directions of Radkovka, Tishchenkovka, Kurilovka, and Kovsharovka. Two attacks had not yet ended as of 22:00.

Another six Russian assaults were repelled by Ukrainian defenders in the Liman direction in the areas of Novoyegorovka, Novoselovka, Drobyshevo, Liman, and Dibrova. One battle was ongoing.

In the Gulyaypole direction, the Defense Forces repelled five attacks near Rozhdestvenka, Vozdvizhevka, and Charivnoye. In the Slavyansk direction, Russian forces attempted twice to advance near Ozernoye, and in the Kramatorsk direction they conducted one assault operation toward Vasyutinskoye.

In the North Slobozhanka and Kursk directions, the General Staff recorded two combat clashes. Russia also carried out two airstrikes using six guided aerial bombs and conducted 42 shellings, one of them from a multiple rocket launcher system.

In the Alexandrovsk, Orekhov, and Pridneprovsk directions, Russian forces did not conduct offensive actions during the day. No significant changes in the situation were recorded on other sectors of the front.
