Russia intensified pressure on several sectors of the front at once
Since the beginning of the day on September 14, there have been 225 combat engagements at the front. The most intense fighting continued in the Konstyantynivka and Pokrovsk sectors, where Russian troops launched 27 and 22 attacks respectively.
This is according to the operational summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 22:00.
According to the Ukrainian command, over the past day Russian troops carried out 55 airstrikes using 190 guided aerial bombs, employed 6,183 kamikaze drones and fired 1,724 barrages at positions of the Defense Forces and populated areas.
The highest enemy activity was recorded in the Konstyantynivka sector. There, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 27 assaults near Konstyantynivka and towards Novoselivka, Illinka, Dovha Balka, Rusyn Yar, Toretsk, Vilne and Stepy. As of 22:00, two engagements were ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Russian units attempted to advance 22 times towards Hannivka, Bilytske, Dobropillia, Svitlе, Matiasheve, Serhiivka, Udachne, Molodetske and Novopidhorodnie. One battle was still ongoing at the time of the report.
According to preliminary data from the General Staff, 62 Russian servicemen were killed and 15 wounded in the Pokrovsk sector over the past day. The Ukrainian military also reported the destruction of six vehicles, a special vehicle, two UAV command posts, a fuel and lubricants warehouse and 36 personnel shelters.
In addition, according to the command, 298 drones of various types were destroyed or suppressed. Another five vehicles, nine UAV command posts and 123 shelters were damaged.
In the Kupiansk sector, Russian troops attacked eight times towards Radkivka, Tyshchenkivka, Monachynivka and Kondrashivka. Five battles were ongoing.
In the Sloviansk sector, the Defense Forces repelled seven attempts to advance near Ozerne, Kryva Luka and Mykolaivka, two engagements remained active.
Six attacks were recorded in the Lyman sector near Novoiehorivka, Novoselivka, Drobysheve, Lyman and Yampil.
In the Huliaipole sector, Ukrainian soldiers repelled five attacks near Rozhdestvenka, Dobropillia and Charivne. Another assault was ongoing in the evening.
In the South Sloboda sector, Russian units attacked three times towards Kozacha Lopan, Lyman and Obukhivka, while in the North Sloboda and Kursk sectors two assault attempts were recorded.
In the Orikhiv sector, Russian troops attempted to advance towards Shcherbaky and Stepnohirsk. In the Kramatorsk, Oleksandrivka and Prydniprovske sectors, according to the General Staff, no assault actions were recorded during the day.
