In Kryvyi Rih on the evening of September 16, an accident occurred at one of the electrical substations. As a result, more than 56 thousand subscribers were left without electricity.

This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Hankha.

According to him, the cause of the large-scale power outage was precisely an emergency situation at the substation. The head of the RMA has not yet provided other details of the incident.

Information about which specific districts of the city were left without electricity, as well as the estimated time for full restoration of power supply, was not clarified at the time of the report.

The energy infrastructure of Kryvyi Rih has repeatedly experienced increased load and damage as a result of Russian attacks, but in the report about this outage, the RMA indicated the cause as precisely an accident at the substation and did not link it to shelling.

Data on the city's power supply situation is being clarified.
