In the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv, a university building was damaged after a drone attack

On the evening of September 16, in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv, as a result of a Russian attack, the building of a higher education institution was damaged. The facade and glazing of the four-story building were damaged, and a small fire broke out.

This was reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service in Kyiv and the mayor of the capital, Vitali Klitschko.

Klitschko initially reported a drone hit on a non-residential building in the Holosiivskyi district. Emergency services were sent to the scene.

Later, rescuers clarified that as a result of the attack, the four-story building of one of the higher education institutions was damaged.

In particular, the facade and windows of the building were damaged. A fire broke out over an area of about 5 square meters, which rescuers extinguished.

There are no dead or injured as a result of the strike.

During the attack, an air raid alert was declared in Kyiv, and air defense forces were operating in the city.

This was not the first attack on the capital on September 16. In the morning in the Sviatoshynskyi district, storage facilities caught fire after the fall of debris from a Russian drone. One person was injured and hospitalized.
