Explosion near TCC building in Lviv region: soldier wounded

An explosion occurred near the building of the territorial recruitment and social support center in the city of Mykolaiv, Lviv region. As a result, a serviceman of the Stryi district TCC was wounded.

The incident happened on September 17 at about 16:30 near the entrance to the building of the Stryi district territorial recruitment and social support center. According to preliminary information from the Lviv regional TCC, an unknown device exploded, which unidentified persons may have thrown from the street.

As a result of the explosion, a serviceman of the second department of the Stryi RTCC and SP was wounded. The victim was hospitalized in the Mykolaiv central district hospital.

The regional TCC reported that the serviceman's condition is assessed as moderate. No other casualties were indicated in the initial report.

Law enforcement officers and an investigative task force are working at the scene. Initial investigative actions are being conducted, and law enforcement officers are establishing the origin of the explosive device, the circumstances of the incident, and persons who may be involved.
