Russian troops strike Balakliia: killed and wounded

Russian troops struck Balakliia in Kharkiv Oblast on the evening of September 18. Two people were killed and two others wounded in the attack.

This was reported by the head of the Balakliia city military administration, Vitalii Karabanov.

According to preliminary data, two injured people were hospitalized. They are receiving necessary medical care at the hospital.

A fire broke out at the impact site. In addition, roofs and window glazing in nearby private households were damaged.

Information about the consequences of the Russian strike and the scale of destruction is being clarified.

Earlier, on the night of September 18, Russia also attacked Balakliia. At that time, according to the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, the city was apparently hit by two S8000 "Banderol" drone missiles. That attack damaged residential buildings and outbuildings, and an 86-year-old woman was diagnosed with acute stress reaction.
