Russia once again struck the Amstor shopping center in Zaporizhzhia

On the evening of September 22, Russian troops again attacked the Amstor shopping center in Zaporizhzhia. After the strike, a fire broke out on the territory of the facility.

This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Defense Council Ivan Fedorov and the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Mykhailo Semikin.

Emergency services are working at the site. The scale of destruction and the area of the fire are being clarified. The authorities did not provide information about possible casualties in the first reports.

Facilities of the Amstor chain in Zaporizhzhia have already been hit by Russian strikes multiple times. On the evening of September 17, drones attacked a shopping center in the Khortytsia district of the city. The fire then spread to an area of more than 10 thousand square meters, and the building of the shopping complex was virtually destroyed. One person was injured.

In addition, on the night of September 11, a Russian drone hit another Amstor shopping center in Zaporizhzhia. The fire then engulfed about 500 square meters of the building.

Thus, the current attack became yet another strike on the city's trade infrastructure in recent weeks.
