Former Prosecutor General Kravchenko's mother-in-law invested $670,000 in a villa in Dubai - "Schemes"
Alina Shkrobanets, who at that time was the mother-in-law of former Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko, invested approximately $670,000 in real estate construction in Dubai in July 2023. This is evidenced by data from the Dubai registry obtained by journalists of "Schemes" in cooperation with OCCRP.
It concerns a townhouse with an area of over 143 sq. m in the Damac Lagoons Mykonos complex. At the time of the deal, Kravchenko headed the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, and Alina Shkrobanets was the mother of his then wife Olena.
According to investigators, the investment was made on July 20, 2023. The cost was about UAH 24.5 million at the then official exchange rate. The seller was the UAE company Island Oasis Properties. Construction of the property is currently being completed.
Alina Shkrobanets herself denies buying real estate in the United Arab Emirates. She suggested that her personal data might have been used without her knowledge, but did not explain who exactly could have done it. She also stated that she has not communicated with Kravchenko for over two years and that he did not contact her regarding real estate matters.
An additional connection between Kravchenko and his then mother-in-law can be traced in official declarations. In his wife's declaration for 2023, it is noted that Ruslan Kravchenko had the right of temporary use of an Infiniti QX70 2013 car, whose owner was Alina Shkrobanets. This fact alone does not indicate his involvement in the purchase of real estate in Dubai.
In November 2024, Kravchenko and Olena Shkrobanets divorced. The following year, the owner of the Dubai property became Kyiv resident Andriy Keibash, manager of the restaurant La Veranda. According to journalists, data on the change of owner is also in the official register of the Dubai Land Department.
Keibash confirmed to journalists that he purchased this property in 2025 for about $670,000, but denied buying it directly from Alina Shkrobanets. According to him, he found the offer on the internet. The restaurateur could not name the previous seller.
"Schemes" also established that Keibash was acquainted with the Shkrobanets family. The father of Kravchenko's ex-wife, Ihor Shkrobanets, told journalists that it was Kravchenko who introduced him to the restaurateur at one time. However, these acquaintances alone do not prove Kravchenko's involvement in the deals with Dubai real estate.
Ihor Shkrobanets, who is a deputy of the Chernivtsi Regional Council, also stated that he knew nothing about his wife's purchase of real estate in the UAE. According to "Schemes", there is no information about this asset in his declaration.
At the time of publication of the investigation, journalists attempted to obtain a comment from Ruslan Kravchenko. There is no data on official claims or accusations against him specifically in connection with this property.
Kravchenko no longer holds the position of Prosecutor General. On September 14, President Volodymyr Zelensky suspended him, and on September 15, following the Verkhovna Rada's decision, he signed a decree dismissing him.
