Death toll from attacks on Kyiv rises to seven

Seven people have been killed and 46 injured in Russian attacks on Kyiv on September 25. Some of the wounded remain in hospitals.

Updated figures were reported by Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko. According to him, 25 injured are in city hospitals.

The number of casualties and injured increased throughout the day as information from the strike sites came in. Earlier, city officials reported five dead and 43 wounded. Among the dead is a child. Two children were also among the hospitalized.

Russian forces attacked Kyiv in several waves. Damage was recorded in several districts of the capital. In the Pechersk district, a drone hit a multi-story residential building. In the Shevchenkivskyi district, the strike hit a five-story non-residential building.

Serious consequences were recorded in the Solomianskyi district. After a drone hit an office building, the facade and windows were damaged, and cars caught fire in a nearby parking lot. It was at this location that rescuers found the bodies of several victims.

Additionally, another medical facility in the Solomianskyi district was damaged as a result of the Russian attack. Three people nearby were hospitalized, including a child.

Emergency and utility services continue to deal with the aftermath. Information on the number of casualties and extent of damage is being clarified.
