High intensity of fighting continues at the front: 167 clashes in a day

Since the beginning of the day on September 25, 167 combat clashes have occurred at the front. Russian troops carried out 56 airstrikes and used thousands of strike drones.

This is stated in the evening report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 22:00.

According to Ukrainian command, the Russian army dropped 190 guided aerial bombs during the day. In addition, 4346 kamikaze drones were used for strikes, and the enemy carried out 1816 shelling attacks on positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.

One of the most intense sectors remains the Konstantinovka direction. There the Defense Forces repelled 18 Russian assaults in the areas of Konstantinovka, Stepanovka, Novoselovka, Rusin Yar and Volnoye. As of the evening, two more clashes were ongoing.

On the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian military repelled 12 attacks in the areas of Dorozhnoye, Svetloye, Dobropolye, Krasnopolye, Sergeyevka and Molodetskoye. Two more battles were ongoing.

According to preliminary data from the General Staff, 36 Russian servicemen were eliminated on this sector during the day, and five more were wounded. The Defense Forces destroyed two artillery systems, two vehicles and 11 units of special equipment, two UAV control points and one shelter.

In addition, on the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian military destroyed or suppressed 172 Russian drones of various types.

On the South Slobozhansky direction, Russian troops attacked ten times near Liman, Sinelnikovo and Chaikovka, as well as in the directions of Kudievka, Izbitskoye, Zakharovka, Maly Burluk and Putnikovo.

On the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, Ukrainian units repelled six attacks, and one more battle was ongoing. Russia also carried out three airstrikes there using eight guided aerial bombs.

On the Liman direction, three attempts to advance by Russian troops were repelled, and on the Slavyansk direction, two. On the Gulyaypole direction, three attacks were recorded, two of which were ongoing as of 22:00.

On the Kupyansk, Aleksandrovka and Orekhov directions, one attack each was recorded. On the Kramatorsk and Pridneprovsk directions, Russian troops did not conduct offensive actions during the day.
